An experienced and skilled trial attorney, Alan represents individuals in the areas of personal injury, products liability and general civil litigation.
Alan was raised in Tyler, Texas and his family roots run deep in the East Texas community. After graduating from Robert E. Lee high school, he received a Bachelor of Business Administration degree from Texas Christian University in 1994 and earned his Doctor of Jurisprudence from South Texas College of Law in December, 1997.
Alan was admitted to the Texas Bar in 1998 and is licensed to practice before all courts of the state of Texas as well as the United States District Court for the Eastern District of Texas.
Alan's practice of law began with the Smith County District Attorney’s Office where he received substantial trial experience and developed lasting relationships with local judges and their staff. Following his employment with the Smith County District Attorney’s Office, Alan went to work for Sammons & Parker, P.C. and represented insurance companies and their insureds in litigation all over the state.
Alan founded Wharton Law Firm in October of 2004 to make himself available for individuals who need an experienced trial attorney to represent their interests.
Since 2010, Alan has been associated with Dobbs & Tittle, P.C. He shares the same philosophy of Dobbs & Tittle in zealously representing individuals who have been injured by others' neglect.
